Branding

Branding & Identity Design in London

A logo is not a brand. What you need is a system: a mark that survives every size it will ever be used at, a voice your team can write in without you, and rules clear enough that a new hire produces on-brand work in their first week. That is what we deliver.

02Capabilities

Capabilities

How we actually do it

Positioning first

Before anything is drawn we settle what you stand for, who you are for and why you are the better choice. Visual work without that is decoration.

Responsive identity

One mark never fits every context. You get a full lockup, a compact version and a favicon-scale glyph that still reads at 16 pixels.

Systems, not artwork

Colour, type, spacing, iconography and layout rules that compose predictably — so materials we never made still look like you.

Verbal identity

Tone principles, vocabulary, and rewritten examples from your own copy. Most guidelines skip this, which is why brands sound like nobody in particular.

The process

How branding & identity work runs

  1. Step 01

    Discover

Stakeholder interviews, customer input and a competitive audit that maps the visual territory already occupied in your category.

  2. Step 02

    Define

Positioning, personality and messaging pillars agreed in writing before a single visual is presented.

  3. Step 03

    Design

Two or three distinct directions, presented in real context — signage, screens, packaging — never floating on a white slide.

  4. Step 04

    Systemise

The chosen route extended into a full system, documented and packaged in every format your team and printers will need.

FAQ

Everything you should know about branding & identity

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one asset. An identity is the system around it — colour, typography, imagery, layout and voice — that makes everything you produce recognisably yours. Buying a logo alone is why so many businesses look inconsistent across their own channels.

How long does a rebrand take?

Six to ten weeks for identity and guidelines. Rolling it out across signage, packaging, vehicles and digital properties takes longer and depends on your production timelines — we plan that rollout with you as part of the project.

Will I own the trademark rights?

You receive full ownership of all final artwork on completion. We run a clearance check against obvious conflicts during design, but formal trademark registration is legal work — we hand off to your attorney with everything they need.

Do we really need a rebrand, or just a refresh?

A refresh suits a brand with sound positioning but dated execution, and costs far less. A full rebrand is warranted when what you sell, who you sell to, or what you stand for has genuinely changed. We will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
