Mobile App Development
Mobile App Development in London
An app earns its place on a home screen or it gets deleted in a week. We start by finding the one job your app does better than your website could, build that to a genuinely native standard, and ship it to both stores from a single codebase — so features land on iOS and Android in the same sprint.
- React Native
- Expo
- Swift

App Store and Play Store submission, review handling included
Crash reporting, analytics and staged rollout pipeline
Capabilities
How we actually do it
Product definition
A week of structured workshops that cuts the feature list to what version one actually needs. The fastest way to ruin an app budget is building all of it at once.
Cross-platform engineering
React Native with native modules where performance demands them. One codebase, two stores, no six-month gap between platform releases.
Native when it matters
If your product lives or dies on camera, Bluetooth, background location or heavy graphics, we build fully native. We tell you which you need before you commit budget.
Release engineering
Automated builds, TestFlight and internal testing tracks, phased rollouts and crash monitoring — so a bad build reaches 1% of users, not all of them.
The process
How mobile app development work runs
- Step 01
Define
Workshops to agree the core job, the success metric and the smallest version that proves it.
- Step 02
Prototype
A clickable build in real hands within three weeks. Cheaper to learn a flow is confusing now than after it is coded.
- Step 03
Build
Two-week sprints with an installable build at the end of each. You use the app while it is being made.
- Step 04
Ship & iterate
Store submission, review responses and a post-launch window to fix what real usage exposes.
FAQ
Everything you should know about mobile app development
What does a mobile app cost?
A focused version one typically lands between $40k and $90k depending on integrations and whether you need offline support. We scope in phases so you can stop after any phase with something shippable rather than committing to the whole number up front.
Should I build native or cross-platform?
Cross-platform suits the large majority of business apps and roughly halves the build cost. Go native when the product depends on sustained camera work, background location, Bluetooth peripherals or 60fps graphics. We make that call with you in week one, before budget is committed.
Do you handle App Store submission?
Yes, including store listing copy, screenshots, privacy declarations and responding to review rejections. Apple rejects a good share of first submissions on technicalities — we have been through it enough to pre-empt most of them.
What happens after launch?
OS updates break things whether or not you are adding features, so most clients keep a maintenance retainer covering monitoring, OS compatibility and small improvements. It is optional and separate from the build.
