Everything you should know about web design & development
How long does a website take?
It depends on scope. A landing page is a few days; the three- and five-page packages run one to two weeks; the ten-page build with a CMS takes longer because of the content work. Fully custom sites with integrations or heavy migration run six to nine weeks. You get a dated schedule before we start and a live link to watch progress on.
Do I own the site when it's finished?
Yes — outright. Code, designs, domain and hosting accounts are all in your name, handed over in a repository you control. There is no proprietary page builder holding your site hostage and no licence to keep paying.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
That is the point of the CMS. You get a walkthrough, a short written guide and 30 days of questions answered free. Editing text, swapping images, adding pages and publishing posts need no developer.
What happens to my search rankings when the new site goes live?
We map every existing URL to its replacement and ship 301 redirects with the launch, keep your metadata and heading structure intact where it already performs, and monitor Search Console daily for the first fortnight. Rankings normally hold and then improve as the speed gains land.
